itel solar generator prices: Power Go, Go Pro or Power Tank?
The names sound similar. The important differences are the sockets, the output limit and how much energy the battery stores.

The technical figures below come from the English datasheets linked on itel Energy’s manufacturer website. Compare the exact model code on the unit you are offered; “itel solar generator” by itself is not a model.
| Model | Battery energy | Output to check | Solar input rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Power Go IESS-320T | 320Wh | 130W total USB/DC output; no AC socket listed | Up to 100W; DC input 11–24V, 5A |
| Power Go Pro IESS-320ACT | 320Wh | AC socket up to 200W, plus specified USB/DC ports | Up to 100W; verify electrical limits in the manual |
| Power Tank IESS-05K10N | 1,000Wh | 500W nominal AC inverter output | Up to 400W; maximum PV voltage 60V |
All three datasheets specify LiFePO4 batteries. The Go Pro does not have more battery energy than the Go. Its main distinction here is the AC socket. Power Tank has about 3.1 times their nominal stored energy, although actual runtime also depends on conversion losses and the appliance load.
“100,000mAh” on the smaller models is another way their cell-level capacity is advertised. Use the stated 320Wh to compare energy with other power stations; mAh values at different voltages are not directly comparable.
How much do the itel units cost in Nigeria?
These are two seller listings checked on 23 September 2026. They are not an official nationwide price list, and the seller’s domain name alone does not establish manufacturer authorisation.
| Product listing | Displayed price | What still needs confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| itel Power Go Pro at itel.com.ng | ₦145,000 | Exact contents, delivery, tax and local warranty |
| itel 500W / 1,000Wh Power Tank at itel.com.ng | ₦295,000 | Exact model code, panel inclusion and final invoice |
| Power Go IESS-320T | Fresh quote needed | No directly verified current seller price included in this comparison |
The checked Pro and Tank listings differ by ₦150,000. That buys a different output and storage class, not just a different name. Do not assume a solar panel is included because a listing calls the unit a “solar generator.” Ask for an itemised list of the unit, charger, panels, adapters and cables.
If buying on instalments, compare the total amount payable, delivery timing and written warranty terms with the cash offer. A small weekly payment is not the product’s full price. For other brands, use our broader solar generator price comparison.
Which model fits your actual devices?
For a USB-C laptop, phone and compatible DC router
Check Power Go first if every device can run from its supported ports. Its datasheet gives a USB-C output of up to 65W. A laptop that needs a higher-power charger, an unsupported charging profile or a proprietary connector needs separate checking. DC devices need the correct voltage, polarity and connector, not merely a cable that fits.
For a small appliance with a normal AC plug
Power Go Pro is the relevant smaller model because it includes an AC socket. Add up the appliances that will run together and check their starting demands against its limits. A 200W socket does not mean a 200W appliance will run for many hours from a 320Wh battery.
For longer backup or a higher combined AC load
Power Tank provides more storage and 500W nominal AC output. A laptop, router, fan and a few lights may fit when their actual demand is checked. It is still a small backup unit: do not plan around an iron, kettle, electric cooker or air conditioner without establishing that the exact appliance fits all limits.
For a fridge or freezer
Do not approve compatibility from its running watts alone. Compressor startup can demand more than steady operation. The Power Tank datasheet lists 600VA surge power, which is not the same as a large motor-starting reserve. Ask for confirmation for the exact appliance or a supervised demonstration before buying. Average daily energy is then a separate runtime question.
How long will an itel solar generator last?
There is no single runtime for a model. The table below is an illustrative AC calculation for the Pro and Tank, assuming 80% of labelled battery energy reaches the appliances after reserve and conversion losses. It is not a measured test or a manufacturer guarantee.
| Average AC load | Go Pro: 320Wh × 80% | Power Tank: 1,000Wh × 80% |
|---|---|---|
| 60W | ≈ 4.3 hours | ≈ 13.3 hours |
| 120W | ≈ 2.1 hours | ≈ 6.7 hours |
| 300W | Exceeds its 200W AC rating | ≈ 2.7 hours |
Formula: battery Wh × assumed delivered fraction ÷ average watts. These estimates start with a full battery and exclude incoming charge. Standby consumption, heat, age and the actual usable capacity can change the result. Port limits and starting demand must be checked before using any energy calculation.
For a 60W TV and a 40W fan, a steady 100W combined load gives 256 ÷ 100 ≈ 2.6 hours for the Pro, or 800 ÷ 100 = 8 hours for the Tank, under the same assumptions. Measure your own devices and try the runtime calculator; do not assume all TVs and fans use those figures.
What solar panel should you buy with it?
Start with the exact unit’s manual, then match panel voltage, current, connector and power limits. Go and Go Pro are listed for up to 100W solar input; Tank allows up to 400W. A panel’s advertised watts alone are not enough to establish compatibility.
A 625W rooftop panel is not automatically suitable for a small portable unit. Oversized or incorrectly connected panels can exceed the input limits even if the power station cannot use all their rated watts. Get the seller to specify the approved panel and cable combination in writing.
The Go Pro datasheet estimates about four hours charging at 100W input. Real solar charging varies with sunlight, orientation and loads running at the same time. Do not add the maxima of several charging ports together unless the manual explicitly supports that combined input.
Five checks before you pay
- Photograph the exact model label and match it to the manufacturer manual.
- List the appliances, their ports, running watts and starting requirements.
- Confirm everything in the package, especially the solar panel, wall charger and cables.
- Get a final invoice and written Nigerian warranty/claim process. Ask itel’s official support to confirm the seller or serial number where needed.
- Check the return or exchange terms if the agreed appliance compatibility is not met.
How this comparison was researched
We checked the official English datasheets for IESS-320T, IESS-320ACT and IESS-05K10N linked in the model table, plus the two Nigerian seller pages linked in the price table. Manufacturer documents take priority for the technical comparison where seller descriptions differ. The itel Energy website lists Nigerian technical support and an authenticity-check route.
We have not tested these units, verified seller inventory or evaluated warranty service. The calculations are ours and show their assumptions. Inclusion is not an endorsement. Read our editorial policy or send a correction.
