Sources come before claims
For specifications and compatibility, we use the manufacturer’s documentation for the relevant model wherever available. For payment plans, we use the provider’s current published terms or an identified, dated quote. A seller’s claim is not treated as an independent performance test.
Where evidence is missing or conflicting, we state that limitation rather than fill the gap with a confident number.
Calculations are labelled
Worked examples show their inputs, units and formula. Appliance wattages used to illustrate a method are identified as assumptions. Calculator outputs are planning estimates, not installation designs or guaranteed runtimes.
No invented hands-on experience
We do not say that we tested a product unless we actually did. A future test should identify the model, load, conditions, date and method. Our initial guides are calculation and comparison guides, not laboratory reviews.
Writing and AI assistance
AI tools may assist with research, drafting, editing and website development. That assistance is not evidence of a product’s performance. Sources, calculations and claims must stand on their own; the publisher remains responsible for corrections. We do not invent reviewers, qualifications, customer testimonials or test results.
Prices and installment plans
Prices and finance terms can change. Any price comparison should identify its source, date, currency and what is included. Installment comparisons should consider the deposit, repayments, fees, ownership conditions and missed-payment consequences rather than advertise only a small initial payment.
Advertising and commercial relationships
Advertising, affiliate links, referral arrangements and sponsored content will be labelled where relevant. A paid relationship does not justify hiding a product limitation or describing an untested product as tested. The launch guides contain no affiliate product links.
Corrections and updates
Email hello@wattforhome.com with the page address and supporting information. Material corrections should explain what changed. Updating a date alone is not a substantive content update.
Electrical work needs an on-site assessment
WattForHome helps readers understand options and prepare questions. It does not certify installations or replace a qualified electrician, a site survey or the instructions supplied with equipment.
